Thomas Lowrance Kummer, age 68 of Franklin, TN, formally of Tulsa, OK, passed away February 1, 2017. He was born in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Calvin and Josephine Kummer. He was a vereran of the U.S. Army. Thomas received his Bachelor's Degree from The Citadel and his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University. He is survived by his childern, Scott (Andrea) Kummer of Charlotte, NC, and Stacie (Lucas) Lukasiak of Franklin, TN; grandchildern, Paige & Chase Kummer, Ellie & Kate Lukasiak and; brothers, John Kummer (Ann) of Covington, KY and Stan (Janice) Kummer of Covington, KY. Editor's Note: Thomas was a proud member of "B" Company, was a Sgt. and 2Lt. He was a Political Science major and Army contract student. He played basketball, was in the International Relations Club, Pi Sigma Alpha, Dean's List twice and Gold Stars twice, won the Thomas Jefferson Political Award and AUSA.
