From John Appleton- Brother:

Maurice L. (Moe) Appleton III, passed away on February 22, 1990. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland on March 27, 1948 and graduated from The Citadel Military College in 1970. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina in 1972. Moe became a Lieutenant in the Army Reserves to help pay for college. He was the Vice President for CRS Sirrine Corp, an international building corporation which constructed schools, refineries, etc. Moe ran the Florida branch. He scuba dived, sailed, and traveled a lot. A great loss to his parents and brother.

Editors Note: Moe was a Civil Engineering Major, a Band Company corporal, 1stSgt, and Captain Company Commander. Additionally, he was Junior Sword Drill, a Chapel Usher, a member of the American Road Builders Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He was also a member of the All-State College Band.
