		From:John Peeples- '70- "D" Company Stephen "Skip" Ralph Pedrick passed away on May 11, 2025. He was born Ralph Zelmore Lowe III in Anchorage, Alaska on October 18, 1948 to USAF Captain Ralph Zelmore Lowe Jr. and Donna Hoover Lowe. Stephen's father Ralph passed away while on active duty when Stephen was two years old. His mother remarried USAF Lt. Colonel John "Jack" Dorman Pedrick who adopted Stephen and raised him with love along with Stephen's two sisters Susan Pedrick and Trisha Pedrick. Skip graduated from The Citadel Military College in 1970 with a degree in electrical engineering. He served in the USAF, achieving the rank of Captain. Skip married Deborah Palmer in February 1972 and had two sons, Michael Lowe and Jonathan Pedrick. He went on to start his own business in Oklahoma where he made many friends over the years. Skip possessed a brilliant mind and loved using his talents to help anyone and everyone he could. It was a common thing for Skip to stop multiple time on an eight-hour road trip to help stranded motorists. He was generous with his time and well-known for the easy way he dealt with everyone. Later in life Skip was a volunteer firefighter for the city of Garvin, Oklahoma. He loved building anything and everything from houses to decks to ponds. He loved working on cars, sailing the Gulf Coast and spending time with his sons. He also loved good food and experimenting with recipes in the kitchen. After retirement Skip moved to Colorado to be closer to his sons and grandchildren. Skip was a selfless father whose true nature was to always give without ever asking for anything in return. Skip was proceeded in death by his fathers Ralph Lowe Jr. and John "Jack" Pedrick, his mother Donna Hoover Pedrick, his sister Trisha Peddrick Brock, his grandparents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister Susan Swanda and husband David Swanda, his two sons Michael J. Lowe and Jonathan Pedrick, his wife Katherine Pedrick and three grandsons: Tristan Michael Lowe, Cash Stephen Pedrick and Elias Clark Lowe. This isn't good-bye, this is simply see you later. Editor's Notes: Skip was a proud member of "D" Company, a Corporal and a Sergeant. He was an Electrical Engineering Major and a US Air Force Contract student and a member of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers.  |
