From Alumni News, Winter 2006: Paul M. Uehlinger of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, died June 29, 2005. Mr. Uehlinger served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot and an instructor during the Vietnam conflict, attaining the rank of captain. He was a commercial airline pilot for many years. Mr. Uehlinger worked tirelessly in support of the recently opened World War II Memorial honoring American servicemen and women for service to our country, including his deceased parents. He is survivied by his wife, Mrs. Gail Uehlinger, 1021 Park Drive, Apt. D, Indian Harbour Beach, FL, 32937-3645; two sisters and a brother. EDITORS NOTE: While at The Citadel, Paul was a proud member of "L" Company. He was a Corporal, Sergeant, and 2ndLT. Paul was a History major, Bond Volunteer, Summerall Guard, and in the History Club. |
