John W. Simmons Columbia, S.C. John Waldrep Simmons, 60, of Columbia, SC, died Thursday, August 21, 2008. Born in Columbia, SC, he was son of Virginia Waldrep Simmons of Greenville, SC, and the late Henry Young Simmons. He was a charter member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 25, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 2600 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC. Woodlawn Funeral Home, Greenville, S.C.
